On Saturday, March 8th, the 7th "Hanamaru Class" was held! Once again, it was a time filled with smiles and energy♪
This time, we have three new friends joining us! Our class has become even more lively and fun. The "Hanamaru Class" started as a learning support class for children with foreign roots, but recently, parents have also been enjoying chatting in Japanese with volunteers during the waiting time. Many have expressed, "Even though I'm studying Japanese, I rarely get the chance to speak it..." and the conversation time during waiting has been very well received!♪
Additionally, while many Japanese language support classes typically start after entering elementary school, the "Hanamaru Class" accepts children from around the age of 5. This is because many Japanese children can write hiragana and katakana before entering school, which can create a gap for children from families with fewer opportunities to be exposed to the language. This is the perfect place for those who want to help their children get accustomed to Japanese before they start elementary school!
If you're planning to send your child to a public school but are a bit worried about their Japanese skills, we invite you to come visit our "Hanamaru Class"!
I look forward to meeting many smiles at the next "Hanamaru Class"! ♪
