Great news for those interested in theater and artistic expression, and for anyone who wants to have a special experience in Japan!
On February 16 (Sunday), a theater creation workshop themed "A Society of Coexistence with Foreign Residents" will be held, hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre, and foreign participants are being recruited.

This workshop is part of a program focused on coexistence and diversity with foreign residents. Participants will engage in a theater workshop designed by creators who have studied for six months in the "Tokyo Borderless Theatre Project (TBTP)". Foreign residents living in Japan will provide feedback on their everyday experiences and what they would like to see incorporated into the theater, as they collaboratively create a performance.

Workshop Details

    • Morning Session 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Gather at 9:50 AM)
    • Afternoon Session 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM (Gather at 1:20 PM)
  • [Capacity] Up to 10 members per team (Note: 16 years old and above, including high school students) 
  • [Application Requirements] Must be an OFP member or referred by an OFP member.
  • [Language Used]Japanese
    If you find it difficult to communicate in Japanese, please invite a partner or consult with JII (we will help you find an interpreter).
    *If you speak Japanese, you can participate alone.
    * This event is primarily for foreign participants, but Japanese individuals are welcome to join if they have their own OFP partner or are accompanied by a foreign friend. If you're interested, we encourage you to participate.
